Indonesia's Best Talents Involved in the SEA Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Success story of a sporting event begins since the very first day the event is officially held. That is why the opening and closing ceremonies have been major concerns of the Indonesia SEA Games Organizing Committee (Inasoc).The organizers has vowed to make the Games something to remember through the ceremonies.

            "In every multi-sports event such as SEA Games, Asian Games and Olympic, the opening and closing ceremonies have been capturing public's attention," said Rachmat Gobel, Inasoc Director General.

            In that matter, the organizers proudly announced the names of the country's best talents to get involved in the ceremonies.

            Indra Yudhistira as the event director and conceptor will be working together with top music director, Erwin Gutawa to present a performance show that will be unforgettable. Top choreographers such as Ari Tulang, Deddy Pudja, Hartati, and Alex Hassim will start working with percussionist Ade Rudiana.

            Indonesia's top singer and actress Agnes Monica in the ceremonies will proudly sing the Games' theme song, that will be released during the 100 day towards the SEA Games kick off ceremony on... Agnes will be collaborating with the Phillipines' top singer Lea Salonga and Malaysian Idol Jacklyn Victor.

            "It is a very exciting moment to work together with the country's best artists to present something for the country that will be remembered forever," Rachmat added.

            Indra, who is also Inasoc's Head of Deputy IV, said it will be a big challenge for the organizers to bring something different from previous events.

            "Indonesia is rich with cultures. Together with these artists, we will give something different in Palembang that would be a good memory for everyone," Indra said.

            There would be 150 pieces of orchestra, 1,000 rampak gendang (traditional drum performance), and 5,000 dancers involved in the ceremonies combined with high-tech performance using the biggest LED cyclorama, moving stages, and giant picture projection.
